These terms cover your use of Morning Brief, a small web app that reads your Google Calendar and sends you a daily summary. Using the app means you accept them.
The service
Morning Brief connects to your Google Calendar with read-only access, generates a summary of your day, and delivers it as a notification at a time you choose. That is the whole product.
Your account
You sign in with your own Google account and are responsible for keeping access to it secure. Do not connect a calendar you are not entitled to read. You may disconnect at any time by deleting your account in the app or revoking access at your Google account permissions.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service or to other people's data, and do not use it in violation of any applicable law or of Google's own terms.
Availability, and what the brief is worth
Morning Brief is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime, and it may change or be discontinued. Notifications depend on your device, your network, and your browser vendor's push service — all outside the operator's control — so a brief may occasionally arrive late or not at all.
Treat the brief as a convenience, not a system of record. Your calendar is the authoritative source for your schedule. Do not rely on Morning Brief alone for anything that matters.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including anything arising from a missed, delayed, or inaccurate brief.
Privacy
How your data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes and termination
These terms may be updated; the date at the top of the page reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. Access may be suspended or ended if these terms are breached. You may stop using the service at any time by deleting your account.
